Your desire for wellness is your active journey to become your best self and enjoy a quality life. Wellness training increases awareness of ways you can progress and live a healthier life. It is a process of mental, physical, and interpersonal growth and change. Wellness is a balance of:

  • Self-Compassion and understanding
  • Relationship enhancement
  • Effective life transitions and changes
  • Better life balance
  • Improved sleep
  • Increased focus and follow-through

Working on one or more of these areas will lead you to a more fulfilled and happy life. However, healthy change doesn’t happen overnight. We are here to help you discover your best self and take the right steps in getting there.

Find Your Balance

While some people are afraid of being judged, oftentimes, they are their own biggest critic. Do you often berate yourself about your performance at home, work, and around others? Do you like things to be “perfect”? Are you afraid, or even overwhelmed, about what others think of you? Our inner mind can assault us with fear, guilt, and shame that makes us harsher critics of ourselves. With counseling, you can learn ways to calm your inner critic and invite more balance into your life with mindfulness.

There are three components to a stable and secure relationship.

  1. Being accessible to one another
  2. Responding to each other’s relationship needs in a timely manner
  3. Showing care and concern with tone of voice and facial expression

If you have a good relationship, yet feel that you could improve in one or more of these three aspects of a secure relationship, you might benefit from our training in emotional connection.

With our help, you will come to a deeper understanding of your needs, and your partner’s relationship needs. You will come to see the thoughts and behaviors that are getting in the way of meeting those needs for one another. Together, the two of you will create understanding and connection rituals that will draw you closer together once again.

Relocating, changing a career, or experiencing some of life’s other changes can come with added feelings of stress or even anger and confusion. It can be easy to get stuck in these feelings, which is why we are here to be a listening ear and offer a little constructive feedback when you need it.

Sometimes, the people who care about us see the need for change before we do like when we’re overworked and stretched too thinly. If people close to you tell you that you need to relax or start saying “no” to people, you might want to listen. It’s common to get caught up in the details or feel unbalanced with all the different tasks we need to complete. However, feeling unbalanced can lead to more stress and other problems, which is why we want to help you identify some of the hidden barriers to having a better balance in your life. With appropriate interpersonal boundaries, you can rebalance your life and live in a way that reflects your priorities.

Are you tired of being tired all the time? Laying down at night should be relaxing, but sometimes, our minds are racing with thoughts we can’t turn off, and it can be difficult to get the rest our body needs. People who are sleep-deprived also tend to get irritated more easily and may develop other health problems.

If you want to improve your quality of sleep, we are here to help. We’ll work together to identify what thoughts and behaviors are affecting your sleep and replace them with more effective strategies. You will also learn to avoid those habits that interfere with a good night’s rest. Unlike sleep medications, this treatment will help you understand underlying problems and make a lasting difference.

Difficulty focusing, disorganization, and poor time management can hinder your personal growth. If you struggle in these areas fairly often, it may be time to become that better version of yourself you’re after. We can teach you strategies tailored to your individual needs that will enhance your focus and motivation as well as your time management and organization skills.
